Deleting your account

You can delete your Scaleborn account and all data stored with it at any time. This applies to guest accounts and to accounts with an email address, Apple or Google sign-in.

In the game

  1. In the main menu, open Settings and tap Account.
  2. Tap Delete account. If you play as a guest, you'll find it under Your data.
  3. If you sign in with email and password, enter your password. Then confirm with Delete forever.

The deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Afterwards the game starts over with a new, empty guest account.

By email

If you can no longer open the game, write to support@devilink.ai from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. To protect you, we only delete an account when we can confirm it is yours, for example by asking you to confirm the request from that address. We delete it within one month at the latest and tell you when it's done.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes everything we store about it on our servers:

  • your account, display name, email address, password and linked Apple or Google sign-ins,
  • your login sessions, including the IP addresses and device information stored with them,
  • your game progress and cloud save, gold, eggs, dragons, achievements, quests and statistics,
  • your entries on all leaderboards, including past seasons,
  • your consent settings and our records of your purchases and rewarded ads,
  • name reports you have filed (they are kept without your name if the reported account still exists).

What is not deleted

  • Purchases you made are recorded by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Deleting your Scaleborn account does not cancel or refund them, and items bought for that account are lost.
  • Backups of our database are overwritten within 30 days. Until then, deleted data exists only in those backups and is not used.
  • Data we are legally required to keep (for example for tax purposes) is kept only for as long as that obligation lasts. At present we store no such data about players.

If you only want to stop playing on one device, you can also just uninstall the app. Your account then stays on our server until you delete it.
